The Grand Canyon Railway runs daily from Williams in Arizona
to the railway station at the South Rim of the Grand Canyon.

On this trip on February 27, 2005, we were riding in the
parlor car, which is the last car on the train. This car has
a platform so that you can get out and enjoy the view. Most
of the photos in this gallery were taken from the platform
thus looking back in the direction we came from.

Snow had fallen the night before in Williams and there was
snow on the ground on the first part of the trip. Then we
rode through an area where it was quite foggy for eventually
to arrive at the higher elevation at the Grand Canyon where
it was sunny and with no snow on the ground.
